What was your skating experience before derby?

The rink in middle school. Pre-derby I had skated 5 times as an adult. Tried roller blades once but didn’t know how to stop on blades. LoL

What sports did you play before derby?

Softball, volleyball, league bowling, some basketball

What is something you learned about yourself through roller derby?

How capable a body really is and what I can do with it! I don’t think I had ever felt physically strong until after joining roller derby.
